Adding subtle yet stylish use of dynamic imagery to your website can drammatically lift the appeal and memorability of your website.
iPhones and iPads
Most recently we have been implementing dynamic elements using Javascript technologies, while Apple and Adobe sort out their differences (flash won't play on iPhones and iPads). Below are examples of dynamic elements that we have designed and built for our clients using Javascript:
Energy Efficient Building Technologies provides solutions for energy efficient, cost effective, modern homes - taking advantage of all the latest innovations available in the building and construction industry combined with architect designed homes.
The dynamic element on the home page allows visitors to get a snapshot of the available designs and range of solutions available.
In the JHW home page, the scrolling list of workshops is connected programmatically with the contents of the bottom left element, further explaining each workshop with imagery and text.
3 Peaks provide a range of outdoor and work wear products for the Australian market. The dynamic element for 3 Peaks, though built in Javascript, separates the imagery and key messages at the top of each screen for a powerful visual element.
Collins Commercial & Industrial. The dynamic display of a number of different properties gives the visitor an immediate understanding of the services provided by CCI. The visitor can also control which screen is shown, by hovering over the element and either clicking to the right or left of the image, or choosing which screen they want to see in the top left hand corner.
Flash
Below are a series of implementations of Flash designed and built by Contact Point, which enhance each of our client's websites in different ways:
HJ Langdon. Providing a key set of messages with complementary images.
RDL Accountants. RDL Accountants... looking beyond the numbers. The front page flash element helps to highlight the difference experienced by RDL Accountant's clients.
Print 2 Metal. A new concept to Australia - printing your photos onto metal - utilised a flash component to help educate visitors regarding the merits of the new technology.
Noble Toyota. Toyota dealership in Chullora, NSW, providing visitors with a snapshot of the benefits of key vehicles in the broad Toyota range. The flash element also brings in up to the minute special offers in the red text area, which clicks through to the appropriate page of the site for each flash screen.
Henry Langdon. From around the world to your kitchen bench! This flash element showcases the unique Henry Langdon range which can now be purchased by consumers straight from the Henry Langdon website.
Reality Illusion. To allow visitors to browse through the photographic art created by Alison Stieven-Taylor, we designed and built a flash element to scroll through thumbnails of the artwork, allowing visitors to pause the scroller by hovering, and click to see a large version of the image.
Realm Training. Giving you a feel for the breadth of the activities provided by Realm Training.
Vocal Harmony Works. Get a taste of the groove! Demonstrating the services provided by Vocal Harmony Works without overpowering the visitor or going on for too long.
Gladstone Park Primary School. Creating a fun yet professional visual experience for visitors to the Gladstone Park Primary School was the intention here. The lines of the school song are matched with photos of the children undertaking regular school activities.
The Natural Source. We're very proud of the drop of water that sends ripples out as it hits the surface of the water.
Noble Suzuki, Sydney. The front page flash element for the Noble Suzuki website appeals to the young market with an energetic display of a range of Suzuki vehicles.
oKIDokie Baby - baby settling program to help parents of new borns have their babies settle to sleep much more easily. This gorgeous flash element on the front page of the oKIDokie Baby website speak volumes about the peace that their baby settling solution will provide to both babies and parents!
Rapini - mobile storage systems, chrome wire shelving, service carts, wheels and castors. Flash is used on the front page of the Rapini website to show case in a novel way the great range of products provided by Rapini. You can hover to see a label for each smaller image, and click on any of the small images that move along the 'conveyor belt' to go to the page sporting those products. This flash element can be updated quickly via configuration files making it very useful for the client.
Genre Product Showcase Flash Dynamically showcasing a small selection of the Genre range, in the context of a world fashion market was the intention with this Flash element on the front page of the new Genre website.
This Flash advertisement for My Passion Coach is a great example of how Flash can be used to grab the attention of the audience, and communicate visually a powerful message.
South Eastern Airconditioning Front Page Flash It was important with this flash element to convey the range of services provided by SEAC - both in airconditioning and electrical, for both commercial and domestic use. The dynamic imagery delivers some key messages to the visitors about the focus of SEAC, as well as showing the engineering staff at work and themed images portraying the results of the SEAC work.
Project Balance Giving the feel of professionalism, balance, flow and personability, this flash element is instrumental in the re-design of the website to correctly position the Project Balance online presence to their target audience.
