About Contact Point IT Services Pty Ltd
Contact Point IT Services Pty Ltd was incorporated in June 2006, and grew out of a business known as About IT which began in 1995 solely to provide websites for small businesses.
We have grown in many ways since those early days, and our mission is now to be the best online technology company in Australia which we measure as:
- ensuring that our clients receive excellent, ongoing services in a broad range of online technologies, for a fair price
- that our employees and contractors work efficiently in an encouraging and learning environment, and
- that we contribute positively to our local community, country and the world.
Heather Maloney, Contact Point's founder, has a Master in Technology (Information Technology) majoring in the web, and over 17 years experience in the IT industry, most of which has been focused on delivering business benefit via the use of internet related technologies.
Heather also has solid project management experience gained in the delivery of complex information technology projects, while working for national and multinational organisations including Visyboard, ANZ Bank, Masterfoods and Toyota. This background together with our commitment to the Business Excellence Framework, have been instrumental in ensuring that we take a very organised approach to the way we carry out our services, from initial conversations through to completion of each project. Our in-house built system (Client Secure Area) for managing projects, tickets, standard processes, and visual designs, is continually being improved to help us collaborate with our clients, and help our team manage their work.
Contact Point is made up of a team of technology professionals, graphic designers, flash designers, copywriters and marketing personnel so that we can deliver all your online technology needs and custom technology solutions. Some of our team are telecommuters and have flexible working arrangements, giving us further agility and ensuring that we can involve the best people for your requirements, at the time you need them.
